The Blackfires-The Blackfires

Ever come across a band once in a time, that you either can't seem to stop listening to, or are left yearning for more music from?  I think I have a band for those issues, and that band is New York City's own, The Blackfires.  Such a great find, and awesome talent here!  Having opened for well known bands such as the likes of Aerosmith, Dizzy Reed of Guns N' Roses, and also California Breed, there is a "natual" liking with this band.  I truly hope you stumble or come across this as I did.  They are currently touring all over the United States, with stops in New York, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles to just get started.  If you can make one of their stops, I highly suggest you do!  Below, you will find links to their specific sites, as well as some tour stops.   A man by the name of "Cheggi" helms the vocals, with a rawness and direct assault on your lyrical ears.  Behind the blazing guitars are Hector Marin and Anthony Mullin.  You can't go wrong with Grasebo Doe tearing up the bass guitar!  Of course, it's hard to go without noticing the force upon The Backfires' drumming, in that of Mr. Joe Mitch.  Each element seems equally talented, with a craftiness to them all.  Head to a link below and pick up both their tracks from the release of "A-Sides" by the names of "Can't Get Over You" and the gem "Woman Walks".  I find it really tough to pick a favorite of the two songs mentioned.  However, since I feel I must, I will go with the lead cut, in that of "Can't Get Over You".  With a blues feel, a rock n' roll vibe, and a metal tone-The Blackfires hit you with all streams of arrangements.  I know there are only great things ahead in this artist's future.  If you are part of a band, and feel you would like to perhaps make a show of it with these guys, definitely hit them up at a link below!  I definitely think they would be worth the efforts.  For more music of the band, pick up the 2012 six track release, which is titled "Live From The Cutting Room".  With titles like "Primal Love", "Gambit", and "Rocker Child", you seem to believe and feel for an atmosphere made of true gifted power!  Wounding out the release are blazers known by names of "Grapeshot" which was a bonus track, "Livewire Barbies", and "Just A Thrill".  If you are running low on new music cash, grab up "Gambit" and "Just A Thrill" for certain!  Hell, if you wanna grab all their quality material, at one of the links below, it would run you around the mere cost of about $7.00.  I would say that is well worth the trust and downloading you place from music of The Blackfires!!  Nonetheless, no matter which way you aim your senses, any song of theirs is really worth your "feel".  Also, catching one of their low priced or free concerts would be highly suggested, as I mentioned before!!  I say, today, let The Blackfires spread into your ears!!

Caducus-String Me Up

Her presence is being felt within this music industry, including an interview and photo Louisville Music News website.  Why Louisville, you ask ?   Well, she always had this beautiful talent to sing.  As for her singing, Michala Bouska, the woman being spoken of now, she is incredibly talented.  Her vocals are so much like the angry Fiona Apple, the lustful Maria of In This Moment, the incredible range of Charlotte in the band, Delain, and also Christina of the well known band, Lacuna Coil.  Chuck Stoess, Jr., also known as "Chuckles", also shares the songwriting duties with Michala.  With utter power, incredible arrangement, and a sense of inducing amazing emotion, "Chuckles" seems to lace up the guitar with a sound only heard in true music professionalism.  Chuck writes the bass lines as well as the guitar arrangements for most of Caducus material.  Then, we enter Mr. Steven McDougale , Jr., tearing into the way of "bruising" the drums and giving beats never heard before with a thrust of relentless energy.  He shows true talent in a drummer's world, there is no doubt.  "J" Jason Cheatham, is the main man responsible for the aggressive riffs you hear during their live shows, and on the excellent release of "String Me Up".  Currently, Caducus is searching for a bassist, their search is active and ongoing, with no doubt they will find the raw, strong talent that fits the band.  The album cover to "String Me Up" is very dark, gothic, and intriguing.  It will, in sorts, leave you pondering how dark or relentless this album and band could sound like, before ever hearing the music itself.  The release totals six tracks, with five originals and one cover song.  You will definitely enjoy this gem!  "Evolve And Obey" and "Phoenix", are songs that show how simplistic, brutal, and melodic this band can be.  I have a favorite track from the release, and that song is titled "Safeword".  I truly am indulged with this song, and it is such a strong arrangement of music, it pulls you in like nothing ever felt before.  The song "String Me Up" is dynamic, tough, and really gets you pumped for the relentless atmosphere that Caducus brings with them on stage and on their record.  As soon as possible, I plan to find a way to catch them live, and witness the strong performance I can feel already from the "String Me Up" release.  If you are a fan of artists like the talented Joan Jett, Flyleaf (w/Lacey), Lacuna Coil, Delain, Evanescence, and the former band Drain S.T.H., you will truly dig this release.  Speaking of Flyleaf, Caducus is set to play a slot on the current Snocore tour at the EXPO FIVE, which is located in Louisville, Kentucky.  The show will have performances by Flyleaf, Adelita's Way (who are working on a new album for late 2015), Framing Hanley, Fit For Rivals, Begging Victoria, and the already mentioned brutality called Caducus.  That Snocore show is set for February 17th, 2015.  With the sponsorship and excellent coordination of Mr. Terry Harper, with whom you can contact and see more about at a link below, the promotion of this band is growing rapidly and I promise you the nation and perhaps the world, will soon feel this force known as Caducus!!

Killing Abraham-Killing Abraham

Hailing from the brilliant areas of Tennessee, Killing Abraham are one of those bands that seem to be under the radar.  With great measures, this band has seemed to show that they definitely belong in the modern rock and rock n' roll scene.  They released their self-titled debut in January of 2014, almost one year ago, and trust me; you don't not want to have this album in your collection.  With incredible vocals, and blaring guitar play...this album is just about perfection.  With ten tracks of punishing lyrics, and throttling music, Killing Abraham sets the tone with the album.  Such tracks as "Nightmare", "Faking", and "Wake Me Up", are excellent examples of the ferocity and fine work on the album.  The favorite track of mine was difficult to select, as there could be many up there.  However, I chose to pick the song "Scarred And Broken".  This is a very melodic track, with very fine lyrics, and a great temp that simply put; resonated with me quite well.  It also is a song that rests in the middle of this album''s track list, which was an excellent choice by the band.  Killing Abraham also laced up the album with the first song being called "No Surrender", and it sets a great mood for this debut record, I enjoy the way they lead you into the next track on each song's presentation.  This was an outstanding point that I seemed to discover.  Other stand out music on the release are songs like "Nightmare", "Beautiful Change", and the great song, "I Like It".  You truly cannot wrong with the album, it's able to be found at a great price at many online retailers, and it's a must for fans of bands like Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle, Bush, and Cyrenic.  Grab your copy today!

One I Cinema-One I Cinema

Hailing from the country of Germany, One I Cinema are on a mission.  They are set to release a delicate, yet powerful album.  Their self-titled release, due in January, is a blazing effort to rip your ears off.  The main man of the band, Marco Meyer, is determined to succeed.  Other band members include Hannes Kelch, Phil Albright, and John Lappin.  However, let there be no doubt that the main force, the man behind the One I Cinema "mask", is that of Marco Meyer.  He virtually did every instrument on the record, which sounds fantastic!  You won't believe it, it's sort of like the times when Richard Patrick of Filter did his thing on their records at times.  This is incredible work!  His ferocity and throttling of the bass sets a really aggressive tone on the album.  The lead single, which is available at most digital retailers now, is called "Not My Fault".  This is a bad ass song, and it really makes a listener become intrigued in what One I Cinema is all about.  Take for example the brilliant songs such as "Stronger Than Before", "The Mirror", and the unforgettable "Broken Hearts".  One I Cinema are set to tour with the ferocious band Darkhaus, and that should get more people in the know of One I Cinema.  I mean, you cannot go wrong with this album at all.  "Stay" and "If Anyone Cared" are my favorite tracks off this self-titled album.  They really hit me hard in the soul, and that makes a mark of a great musician or band.  One I Cinema is just that.  Get to know these guys now, because soon, you will have no choice because they will take over the rock scene soon!!  Come January 24th, 2015....One I Cinema will be out to rock your ears off!!  Tear it up, let loose, and get ready to rock n' roll!!

Marilyn Manson-The Pale Emperor

In January of 2015, Marilyn Manson is set to release his new record, "The Pale Emperor".  After hearing this album, I was stuck on an opinion for a few days to be honest with you all.  I heard the first track released off of it, "Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge", and thought highly of the album probabilities.  Then, recently, another song was officially released titled, "Deep Six".  This song was mediocre, yet just not at the most intriguing to my ears.  Don't get me wrong, Manson's vocal sounds are something I've been drawn to over his career, however, the "quietness" and rather "non-rocking" tracks on this upcoming release, are a huge letdown.  There are some songs worthy of checking into though.  Take for example what is probably my favorite from "The Pale Emperor", and that being the song "The Devil Beneath My Feet".  This has Manson's expected lyrical tone, and he seems as dark as ever in this musical presence.  Another song to perhaps just snag for a few (total) off of I-Tunes upon the release of the album is the song "Worship My Wreck".  Lyrically, this is probably his best effort on the album, and it also has an uniqueness to it.  The only other songs worth grabbing would be the tracks "Fall Of The House Of Death (On Deluxe Edition Only)", and the song "Birds Of Hell Awaiting".  If you are a huge fan of Manson, then by all means, pick up a complete copy, just do not be surprised if it let's you down, because it does lack that sense and feelings you would get from his "Holy Wood" or "Antichrist Superstar" albums.  If you can steer clear of wasting your dollar or whatnot, please avoid the rest of the songs, as they are quite disappointing.  Songs such as "Slave Only Dreams To Be King", "Killing Strangers", "Cupid Carries A Gun", and "Odds Of Even" are disastrous, in my opinion nonetheless.  I'm happy there is new material from Marilyn Manson, but did we really deserve this??  At least it could have been worth the wait, but believe me, it was not.

Made In Waves-Made In Waves

Made In Waves are impressive from the start.  The Saint Louis band, which whom was originally titled "Key To My Spaceship", has definitely presented an impressive debut, which is set currently for am early 2015 release date.  With raw energy, and brutal breakdowns, Made In Waves are on their way to making a name for themselves in this musical world.  It's been a journey for the band, since releasing their 2005 EP, they then added a drummer by the name of Chris Loeffler.  The band began to mesh together from there.  Past bands they have opened up for are POD, Incubus, Chevelle, and Cypress Hill.  The have gained many local top stage slots, and with this debut record forthcoming, there doesn't seem to be a reason to have it any other way.  I really enjoy their first single, "Overload".  This song is very unique and sets the tone really for the record, and I truly believe it would be their top hit of the self-titled release, if it were not for the track "Abussos".  Staged to be released to national radio outlets soon, the song is by far my favorite off the album.  I think the lyrics are well played out, and the instrumental arrangements are simply brilliant.  This is quite an effort by Made In Waves.  Other pretty solid tunes from the release are "Deep Blue Dream", "Halo", "Prima Vista", and the slicer of rock called "Salvation".  "Salvation" really resonated with me, and I find it one the finer cuts off the debut record.  In 2015, make this debut one of the albums you grab up at digitally at some links to guide your way below, rock out!!

The Milton Incident-Innocence Lost

What a ride it has been for the members of The Milton Incident.  This band has seen it's ups and downs for a few years lately.  Featuring the power behind the former band, Stonedrive, the vocals and lyrics are equally as brilliant as previous releases.  The infectious and deep intro on the debut album from The Milton Incident, titled "Innocence Lost", is really one of the best introductions to an album I have come across.  The album picks up after that track, which is the first song on the record, with a pounding and relentless track called "Deadset".  This is a very well arranged song, and sets the tone for the album without a doubt!  My favorite pick off the album is a song that resonates well with me and this life we all live, this song is called "Dearest Enemy".  "Dearest Enemy" was ironically one of the first songs that The Milton Incident released.  There were some demos floating around on the net for this, and other means to snatch up or hear this song.  It is a very kick ass track!  Some other stand out pieces of the record are "Torn Down", "Pyromaniac", "Dopamine", and the solid outing titled "Memento".  This band, which hails from the beautiful country of  France, is one of many up and coming rock artists from the country.  Another powerful and beautiful artist from France is the lady known as "Cylew", of which whom you can find reviews of her two albums on this very blog.  I recommend checking her music out as well.  However, to end this with an honest opinion, which I always lace the blog with, I will go on record and admit that The Milton Incident is definitely a band to keep your eyes on, and prepare your ears for!!  You have to check them out, the debut album has been released overseas for some months now, but it is about to be unleashed in America on December 2nd, 2014!!  From what I have seen, the pricing for the record is really at a super price, and should fit well within your budget.  Don't miss out, pick "Innocence Lost" up for your musical pleasures!!

Beartooth-Disgusting

Caleb Shomo is one bad motherfucker.  This guy can scream and tear it up like nobody's business, as he did in the former band, Attack Attack.  Well, my friends, Caleb is here with his new project, Beartooth.  Their first release, the EP titled "Sick" has sold thousands, and it proves a stomping ground was on the way with Beartooth and their label, Red Bull Records.  With the throttling song, "I Have A Problem", which was the first single ever, the band lets loose, and tears the vocals chrods out of anything that stands in their way.  The current single, "The Lines", is brilliant and the lyrics are the strongest you will find on this 12-track album, titled "Disgusting".  Caleb's voice sounds hardcore as hell in the songs "Dead", "Relapsing", and "One More".  My favorite song off this release of hopefully many, many more to come, is the track "Body Bag".  It just resonates with me quite better than any of the other songs, and the tempo is brilliant and incredibly well layed out.  If I have to pick a second favorite song, it would be "Me In My Own Head".  I enjoy the vocal arrangements on this one, and it really pounds hard in the speakers, no doubt about that.  Overall, all twelve songs are great, and well arranged.  I recommend, though it has been out since early Summer of 2014, you pick this up anywhere you can find music, and as they played the Vans Warped Tour in 2014, here's to hoping this relentless band will once again rock out on the 2015 edition of the tour!

The Dreaming-Alone (Single)

If you haven't heard of this band, it's about time you open up your ears.  Upon first hearing the vocalist of The Dreaming's vocals, you probably could recognize him from the industrial rock band from some years back known as Stabbing Westward.  Christopher Hall, the man behind The Dreaming and Stabbing Westward, proves he still holds a powerful voice and is a strong force in the industry.  Hailing from L.A., The Dreaming have undergone various lineup changes and label moves, but in my opinion, it's only made them tougher and much better!  They have released numerous EP's and have two very solid albums out thus far.  With their debut record, "Etched In Blood" and their follow-up, "Puppet", the band garnered many fans and toured relentlessly.  Well, I'm glad to announce they are on fire again with their brand new single, "Alone".  "Alone" is the first cut being released off their new label home, Metropolis Records, which is also home of a band known as The Birthday Massacre.  I am very impressed with "Alone", and it's return to "Stabbing Westward-type" arrangements and sound.  There seems to be a stronger, and throttling driving force behind "Alone".  As well, the very skilled band announced an upcoming third album due, this one called "Rise Again".  The effort is expected February of 2015.  I love "Alone", and I believe you will as well.  It is available at most digital outlets on the web, however, if you grab it off the Metropolis Records link below, you will find in addition to the alternate remix of the track, another version titled "The Sinister Mix".  Also, I believe the single is cheaper via that site, and more of the proceeds benefit The Dreaming as well.  The band's current lineup features the main man himself, Walter Flakus performing the programming and keys of their sound, and I have to admit-it is killer shit!!  With Carlton Bost on guitar, Johnny Haro kicking ass on drums, and Brent Ashley on bass; The Dreaming have never sounded so good.  I recommend picking up all versions of the single "Alone", which are the album version, the "Sinister Mix", and the "Reamped Mix".  You cannot go wrong, and will be quite rocking your damn head off to "Alone" and it's a pretty safe bet the song will be repeating on your I-pod, car stereo, or even your home player.  Grab "Alone" now!!

In This Moment-Black Widow

Maria Brink and her band are back, and they are still doing what they do.  The band, In This Moment, are set to release their new album, "Black Widow", on November 18th, 2014.  Featuring thirteen standard tracks, with another special edition holding fifteen songs, "Black Widow" contains some metal, ballad material, rock, sexual themes, and a rawness that makes this one of the most distinct bands today.  With their lead single, "Sick Like Me", there is diversity shown, and it is done well.  Here soothing tone at times, mixes well with the tempo, and it was displayed pretty solidly.  "Bloody Creature Poster Girl" and "Big Bad Wolf" are of a different breed than, say, "Sick Like Me" is.  Those previously two mentioned songs have a different groove, and they really add some different elements to the album.  My favorite track is the "ballad-like" song, "Sexual Hallucination", which features the lead vocalist from the rock band Shinedown, Brent Smith.  This is incredibly well conducted, arranged, mixed, and sung.  Brent's vocals soar and blend in so well with Maria's, it become almost surreal.  This record has some weak moments though, with the songs "Out Of Hell", "Dirty Pretty", and "The Fighter".  However, according to the going rate price, or at least the introductory pricing for "Black Widow", you really can get your money's worth here.  The final track I would like to mention is the strong one called "Bones".  I really enjoyed this song, and it holds some strong dynamics, and the lyrics/vocals are portrayed almost to perfection.  This would have to be a close second to my fave off the release.  I would say this album is one of In This Moment's best, and I recommend this to anyone seeking either something new to listen to or get into, as well as the regular In This Moment fan out there.  Grab it up either digitally, the Best Buy bonus track version, or even the standard edition on this upcoming Tuesday!

Valence-Laser Baron

Hailing from Westchester, New York, Valence id a force.  After touring constantly over the New England area, they were finally capable to find the time to release a masterful record called, "Laser Baron".  By opening for bands such as  The Sword, Clutch, and the rockers Consider The Source.  After all this relentless touring, one would be shocked a band could come out swinging with a powerful album, such as "Laser Baron".  The concept is basically a three part epic based on the fictional character, Doctor Mervin Taylor.  Taylor is represented by a tough struggle between evil and good.  The EP, so to speak, rings in at about sixteen minutes long and the struggles between evils and good can be felt in this musical wonder.  Also, forthcoming from the release is it's essence of pure music,  is a story of transcendence parallel universe if good evil.  Geoffrey Schaefer had penned and inked a storyline that gave us all the full story of Laser Baron.  The band are currently writing and arranging new material for 2015, while still showcasing the story of "Laser Baron".  nost of this is being done by the bold and inventive guitar playing Geoffrey Schaefer.  This is one of the most compelling projects I have had the pleasure of reviewing and listening to lately.  Actually titled, The Birth Of The Laser Baron, the effort's three parts are dynamic, unique in strength  and sound.  Track one, ""Part 1: Part 2", is a very inviting trance that welcomes us listeners into a wealth ofsome powerhouse musical arrangements.  My favorite section of this epic release is the one Valence titled "Chapter 2: Wormhole".  This one is very well composed and and written, and just may have what are the ingredients to be a really, really solid track.  For that matter, this entire band is really solid and shows that they have something to prove to the musical world we live and "rock out" in!!  This storytelling epic of a release is more proof that really good much does still exist, and this one is worth a listen.  I know it's not as many tracks, but the length of the songs, and the supremem quality of each track can really cause you to not go wrong!!

Genuflect-A Rose From The Dead

Genuflect's fearsome and relentless power-packed show, had given them all the right to be called "The Four Horsemen: of nu metal in this ever changing music industry.  This band has layed out eleven powerful songs, which will rearrange your mind from all the mosh pitting and head swirling that these guys gives us!  "Gather In The Streets", is once again filled with that instrument ravaging the pounds and throbs in your welcomed soul.  You may know Drew Simmolardes from the relentless band, Reveille.  They released two very solid albums, and are Ozzfest Alumni members.  Their third album, was sadly shelved, and that is a disapointing act, but now we have Genuflect to forget that ignorant move by Elektra, former home the Reveille; still a bitter moment.  "A Rose From The Dead" is more raw, nu metal, and has built a powerhouse that is hard to stray from.  To point out, other emissions from this great new EP, are "Riot On The Set:, "Gather In The Streets". Futura", and one of my most favorite, rock driving anthem that Genulfect has created, since "Head Hearse"-from their "Shadow Side" release a few years back.  It is intense, dark, and basically empowers the fans and listeners to grab even more the amazing artist.  Grab Genuflect-:A Rose From The Dead" !!

Capture The Crown-Reign Of Terror

Capture The Crown are back at it again, with their third release "Reign Of Terror".  They have signed a record deal with Artery Recordings, and I have to say this release is pretty solid.  It is a little bit of a departure from their style and sound from their previous two releases, the first being "Til Death", followed by the limited release of the EP, "Live Life".  The beginning of this release, "Reign Of Terror" is an intro titled "Reign Of Terror", and it leads into the pulse pounding track, "Red Light District".  This song is gut-wrenching, and it is a true post hardcore gem.  The song "Smirk", which follows, is nothing but another fucking killer track!  Their sound may have changed, but it is still a force to be heard and reckoned with.  It took me a bit to take in the change and accept it, but the change also shows the growth of the band, behind the front man and lead singer, Jeffrey Wellfare.  Recently, the band has undergone major changes in their lineup, but Capture The Crown seems relentless in their pursuit of being one hell of a screaming force in this music industry.  "Firestarter" is a track that is killer and has become my second favorite song off of "Reign Of Terror".  It reminds me of their previous songs off their first two releases.  It is quite the jam, that is for sure!  My favorite track is actually two songs, that are tied for my faves.  "Oxy Sunrise" and "Beating The Blade" are excellent reminders of how raw and pure post hardcore and "screamo" music can be.  Other standouts off the album are "To Whom It May Concern" and the lovely track "Janina".  I recommend giving this a try, as it is currently and has been at a cheap and great price.

October Rage-Fallout, Dust and Guns

Coming from the proud country of Australia, October Rage have released their latest effort, with
"Fallout, Dust and Guns".  Featuring the well done track of "Valkyrie".  This song is absolutely incredible.  With powerhouse vocals, guitar pounding melodies, and lyrics that are ragingly dark and effortlessly done, it's incredible!  Take for instance the lyrical lines that vocalist Nick Roberts belts out, I mean it's like they know how to rock out more than the normal "joe".  With the pulse raving drums of Kai Chambers, we are again left with little doubt that October Rage can survive in this crazy music world.  "Fallout, Dust and Guns" includes my favorite song of the EP, within the range of "White Walkers".  I mean, this one soars above most active rock songs these days!  Such a strong, melodic range of powerful influence, and a rocking sound, it's a track surely not to be missed.  "End Of Days" is dark is a triumph over most tracks released out there.  This song engulfs the "rain in life" that we deal with, and still shines with some kind of ray of hope, in which we all try and find in this world.  What a powerful track, indeed!  Another stand out effort is the song, "Signal Fire".  The guitars in this one are beautifully crafted, and the vocals are well layed out, with harmonies being so blissful.  To show they have a depth to them, October Rage include the arrangement and track of "Heart Of Stone".  Perhaps the "slower" track of the EP, this song is a rock ballad in the making, and a force to be heard!  I mean, I tried to find a weakness within this release, but it was tough nonetheless.  I suppose if there was a weakness, it was that there were not enough songs on the effort.  We need more!  Other than that, I am not sure where to leave you, but I suggest you go out, or online, and grab a copy of "Fallout, Dust and Guns" now!

Red Tide Rising-The Rising

"The Rising", by the rocking band, Red Tide Rising, has been released for about a year now.  However, I think that I have to put my "two cents" in on the release.  I fucking love this!!  I mean, the record kicks off with a strong intro titled "Rising Tides", and it doesn't look back from there.  With power-laced vocals, and earthquake-like guitars, bass, and drums, you are given such a treat within "The Rising".  Wow!  "Shadows", the fourth track on the album, presents a haunting-like vocalization, and is lyrically dark with lyrics like "Is this a nightmare, am I wide awake...".  You can't help yourself to be familiar with those words, we all have felt that way before.  The song "Misery" rocks in a more upbeat fashion, yet, still brings the power-driven lyrics and drumming on this song is incredible.  Love it!  My favorite track on "The Rising", I would have to say without a doubt is "The Choice".  With lyrics like "....and I don't mind you walking away....", it really resonates with me.  Perhaps that is why it has become my favorite part of the record.  "The Otherside" and the song "The Rising" are such perfect fits for the release, as they give us a taste of solid beats and that forceful voice of the vocalist, Matt Whiteman.  If you want some harder rock n' roll-like portions, then look no further than "Vicious Circle" and the cut "This Is War".  Also on the album are thrillers such as "We Are The Hunted" and "2:13".  Let me just state, that it was a close one in picking my favorite track, so I would like to say that the track "Cold" is an excellent piece of the album as well, it give us a sense of the late Type O Negative-like arrangements.  To end, I would highly recommend you picking up "The Rising" today, adding to your collection with a powerful, melodic, and blazing album.  Check out one of the links below, and see it for yourself.  You can also head to your digital stores, such as Amazon and I-tunes.  You will not be let down by the band, not even close!  Catch them live this fall with Like A Storm and the throttle called Drowning Pool.

Way back in 2002, guitarist Andrew Wayne began an epic journey.  Then, in 2009, Andrew encountered the talented drummer Linda Medina.  The band was almost complete, except they needed a rockin' vocalist.  This is where the soothing, atmospheric, and haunting vocals of Sarah Anderson.  She became a perfect fit with this amazing band.  Sarah joined the band in 2010, and this machine was about to explode with powerhouse lyrics and a stunning vocalist.  Think of a haunting version of the band Flyleaf, or the International talent known as, Nemesea.  With the album completed, and the tracks are all laced up with inspiring vocals, pounding drums, and a blazing guitar-"Catharsis" is about to give the fans of music something to talk about.  My favorite track from their debut release is the song, "Over".  The intro of the song is well done, and the aspiring vocals are incredible.  The band has dealt with mental health issues, depression, and suicidal thoughts.  It's because of those issues that the music is dark, flowing, and such a force to reckon with.  "November", the lead song off the album, is a blast of energy.  The drums hit the ears so well in this track, and Sarah's dramatic voice does it justice.  You really cannot go wrong when you grab this up on it's release date of October 14, 2014.  I know you will enjoy the songs "The Other Side", "Hysteria", and the haunting of the song, "Last Wish".  With eleven tracks on "Catharsis", you definitely get your money's worth, I guarantee it!  "Stained" is an incredible release of energy, talent, vocals, and smooth transitions of the musical score.  "The Reprisal" and "Vermin" reached out and hooked me into the band's mind.  I mean, there is nothing wrong with this album at all, absolutely nothing.  Check 'em out with the links below, and hear/see for yourself what I am talking about!
