On April 9th, 2013, David Draiman unleashes the debut album of his newest project, Device. The band is compromised of Geno Lenardo, of Filter fame, as well. The album will feature appearances by M.Shadows, Tom Morello, Serj, Geezer Butler, and more iconic rockers. The focus of this record, and project, is in the studio, and some enigmatic production. The first single, and let me first say, it's electric, is called "Vilifiy". The single is set to hit all digital outlets for sale on Tuesday, February 19th. There is a lot of industrial powerhouse, guitar-laced strength represented on "Vilify". For those expecting just another "Disturbed-sounding" song, well, don't get your hopes too high. This track will sound like David Draiman, of course, after all it is his voice. Yet, I sense his angst, his willingness to share with us the passion he's grown with, to share this style of rock, this industrial music with us. He does that very, very well with "Vilify". Similar to the keyboards and synths you will soon hear in the up and coming California band, Fiction Killer, Device has made it's presence well felt inside of "Vilify" with powerhouse synths and keys...lacing the track with demanding vocals, ranging guitars, and piercing electronics that would blow Wayne Static out of the water. I highly recommend you hit up Amazon, I-Tunes, or another digital outlet store on February 19th to pick this single up, and grab the album on 04/09/2013. You don't want to miss this, no way.
